I like warriors. I've spent some time in the saddle and enjoyed it. They are good trail machines. I have a 99 300 honda 4x4 back on my family's farm and I keep an 04 wolverine at my house. I love sport bikes but they are basically limited to fun only. Even though you may be interested in a sport bike now your needs may change down the road. You might look at the wolverine. It is almost as sporty as a warrior and has a rear rack and optional tow hitch. I do some jumping and ride wheelies constantly with mine.

Back in 98 I bought the honda. I was looking a the kawasaki Lakota and the honda. Even though the lakota was sportier I have never regretted buying the honda due to the versatility of 4x4. Today the honda 300 is still a formidable utility quad and I will continue to get use out of it trail riding and working on the farm. The lakota would have been handicapped by 2wd and chain drive for work purposes.

Think long term.....Just my thoughts

Thanks. But the wolverine is slightly out of my price range it being a 4 by 4. I was hoping to spend about 2000 on a used warrior. But if i could find a wolverine for around same price I would definatly take it. Do you think i could find a used wolvie for about that much.

I spent alot of time pricing the wolverine before deciding to go with a new unit. Depending on where you live you may be able to find a good used wolverine for around $2500. It will probably be an earlier model for that price though. Any wolverine that I could find that was say a 2000 model or newer were closer to $3500 unless it had some problems.

I only paid 4600 plus 160 for setup on a new 04 model. I might have bought used but I could not find a really nice unit in my area and after paying $600 to have one shipped I was better off with the new bike.

Anyway back to your subject, You probably could find a newer/nicer warrior for the same $ as a wolverine. But if you don't mind saving a little more and waiting for the right deal I bet you could land a wolverine pretty resonable.

I'm sure the 350 raptor is cool but Aussie is looking for something in the 2k price range.
