ok, stock vs stock which is faster i hear some ppl say the predator beats the raptor on top speed (so not on acceleration?) just wondering as im gettin my raptor this week (be gone pos kaw. lakota 300) and my bro just got his predator..

On all my Results I have beating every Stock Predator that I have raced with either one of my quads and alot of them are better riders and weigh less.

 

i got an idea...
lets get a sledge hammer and beat this topic some more!!!
i dunno how many comparisons i have seen like this on the forums around... all of then end up the same... no raptor owner will admit to losing to anything... of course if i was a 660 id have a hard time saying o lost to a 500 too...

 

And no predator owners seem to admit that they have been beaten by a raptor. Many are even hard pressed to admit getting beat by a ds. I havent lost to a pred, but I've only raced 2. One when we were both stock at a hill climb, and one when we both were piped at the ice oval.

Anyway, the are extremely close and the best way to find out is to go race your brother. Riders and terrain will make a difference.

and yes i got beat by a raptor... i was stock he had a pipe and beat me in a drag... ive always said that and always will.

 

I am thankful for your truth hozed. I have thought about selling my pony for a yfz as well. How is it working out for you?

 

The Raptor is detuned like a **** from the dealers, just like the DS650. Just think if we could have the full potential of a 660. The Predator holds its own pretty dam* good, but the ones that I have raced have not beat me. Very close but I pulled away on top. Every Quads runs different though. You can get the same everything and one quad will be faster then the other maybe by 1 MPH or 4 MPH. But everyquad runs different. thats what I think

 

havent even rode it yet... except to the back on my truck from the dealer.
