Not to insult your post or anything, but the reason they are getting bigger, is because "some" people need them! Your Camaro isn't going to pull my 5th Wheel Camper across America. Your Camaro isn't going to pull 5 ATV's on a 20ft Trailer is it? 2 Grizz, 2 Big Bear, A. Cat 500. That's why I bought my 3/4 Ton '00 4x4 Silverado. Another thing, if you were to get in a wreck, would you want to be in my truck or your car? IF a car were to hit me, not much would be left of it! OH, yeah, I heard from a dealer here in Central KY that there is to be a new engine in the Grizz within the next couple of years. He said at least 650 or greater. He knew about the Raptor back in the fall of last year, don't know how, but he has connections. So he may be right?!? CB

You fit into that niche where people need/use the big rigs....but most don't. My next vehicle will be a 1 ton crew cab. Family of four, camper, trailer with boat and/or ATV.

Have a great weekend....I'm outta here!

Actually, Ford quit producing the Excursion due to poor sales. Anything bigger than the sportsman would be impractical for the woods. It's already top heavy but a nice machine and a excellent mudder.

It would make since for Yamaha to come out with a larger Grizzly. There are rumblings from Polaris about a 700cc Sportsman & Kawasaki coming to the game with a new 650cc Prairie with IRS suspension.

Yes, I would believe they would come out with a bigger Grizzly, you have to keep up with the other big dogs. Otherwise, time to get on the porch.

Next spring should be very interesting.

The national 800cc limit states that any vehicle over 800cc's will not be considered atv/atc but as an OFF ROAD VEHICLE, just like a truck or jeep etc, and will be subject to all of the requirements of such vehicle.

You all seem to forget that bigger is better. That means that the smaller bikes will cost less in time. You can buy a 300-400 at a good price now that the wars for the larger machine are on.

I think I would save up to get a big griz if they dropped the machphersons (butchered that) and went with dual a-arms + water cooled would be nice I think it would be my perfect vehicle I ride high speed logging roads with mud in the winter and need to carry stuff (fishing gear) and maybe tow a small boat to the lake on the logging roads (Failor Lake if anyone knows where that is) well thats just my 2 cents.
