ok what dose my freind have to do to make a 400 kodiak as fast as a grizzly660 would clutch springs hmf pipe filter
and jetting will that do the trick or dose he have to go into the motor?

EDIT: what else can he do for top speed and acceleration he dosent use it as a utility its for trail riding and going fast and who make a big bore kit for it or atleast a piston and cams? thanks for the info

 

I don't think there is a practical way to make it as fast as your Griz660. My 450 doesn't stand a chance against a buddies griz in the open, but on the trails, I eat him up. Your buddy should sell his Kodiak and buy a sport quad since it sounds like he wants speed instead of the utility performance it was mainly designed for.

 

he will not buy a sport quad he wants a sport utility - the utility lol how fast can you make a grizz with just pipe filter cam jetting?
