Raptor Question B4 buying

Default Raptor Question B4 buying

i was reading up on the fourms here and i see theres alot of things about raptors trannys going out ( a tranny is a transmission right?)and should that stop me from buying one because its either the raptor 660,Banshee, or raptor 350 and the shop is far from my house thanks for the help

Yes a tranny is a trans dont worry you are reading about the 2001 raptors with the trannys probelms if you are getting a 2004 raptor dont worry its all good.Stay away from the 350 raptor its just a warrior to me it looks like the raptor mixed with a yfz looks cool but i wont buy it for the reason you will want more power,speed, etc..dont want to get stuck with a slow bike.A banshee i like them it dont cost to much to make them fast but im more of a 4 stroke person than a 2 stroke.Ill go with a raptor if noe a yfz if not a banshee if not ill just borrow my friends![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Yes, tranny is refering to transmission. Some of the 01 raptors had some tranny problems, but the problem was corrected on the 02 and newer quads. The raptor is a great sport quad, its kind of the "jack of all trades but master of none" sport quad in that you can suit it to your type of riding. It will have nearly twice the power of the raptor 350 you mentioned, and is better for trail riding then the banshee.
