Outerwears without the airbox is it safe?

Default Outerwears without the airbox is it safe?

would my filters be safe with just outerwears on them and no airbox, by the way the filters would be K&N/

Depends on what kind of riding you do. If you ride in wet or mud, you should have an air box.

Like Dfitz said - water and mud = must have airbox - you can remove the lid though.... just stay out of the creeks and rivers.
