How hard is the Blaster powerband

You can pull great wheelies in 2nd gear and in first. All you have to do is just pop the clutch on 1st gear or just be in second (low reved) and gas it and there ya go ala-wheelie.
Its pretty hard for me to get one in 3rd, but if ya sit on the very back of the seat and gas it in 3rd im sure you can pull one out.
Im 21 5'11" and around 150-160, I have no problems doin wheelies.

There should be no reason for the motor to just blow up if it is taken care of.
-Run good 2 stroke oil in it
-check the plug often so you know how it
is running
-keep the air filter cleaned and oiled(this is
something that is very important in the life
of the motor but most overlooked)
-check compression every couple months or so
My 99 has been riden fairly hard since I bought
it. I keep an eye on the compression and it is still at 127 exactly what it was off the dealer floor.
Trivia time:
If you took a tempature reading on the motor when it was 100 degrees and high humidity and then took one when it was 30 degrees with no humidity which motor would be hotter?

do you guys not like, know how to wheelie or something? I mean, come on.. duh.. lean back.. pop the clutch.. give it gas. I have had my banshee for 1 month and I can ride a wheelie in 1,2,3,4. It's simple. You guys should've read dirt wheels "how to ride a wheelie forever" article. Explains it very simple. Forgive me for tickin you off but I mean, come on.. this is simple knowledge.. and my frind, he can ride a wheelie on his 400ex 1,2,3,4,5.. for as long as he's got gas I guess.. seen him out on the lake bed one day, ride a wheelie for at lease 200 yards.. but, that's a 400e 4 stroke. No, a blaster will not pop a wheelie when you hit the power band! Are you talking about taking off in second, or going along in second.. and slowly hit the power band. If so, no. But if you pop the clutch and have it revved.. well, anything will wheelie if you do that! Later,

a cheap way to make your blaster have a better powerband is put a k&n filter on there it made a difference in myne
i could hit wheelies through 4th and i run alltracks on myne so dont say that blasters are gutless the reaso0n 80's have better powerband is because all the power from the engine is spinning one skinny wheel instead of two wide ones
