DS650,
Trust me I know how much they put the Warrior down now that it's old school to them. Like I said, with a light rider and a bigger front sprocket the Warrior will do 65 no problem.
I just don't see how with the stock gearing, that the engine would hit max RPMs in 6th before it his 65mph. Perhaps under perfect conditions with a 150lbs rider anything is possible.
But it seems IMO that most people tend to over-rate the top speeds of their machines. I had a friend with a radar gun and no one was EVER right about claimed top speed.
Guys on Raptors that were sure they were doing 75 were luck to be hitting 70. At a strip once in NJ we clocked some 55 quads and the fastest was a heavily modded Banshee at 87mph. A Quad Racer 250 hit 83 with 15/42 gears.
Stock 400ex's were not hitting 70 like most people claim they will, and Warriors with mods were hitting 65-68 tops.
Maybe his radar gun was out of calibration, but judging by that it's been my experience that people always over-estimate two things, 1: top speed, and 2: horsepower.

ss97,
Fine belive what you want i am not trying to change your mind just telling you things that i have seen with my two eyes if you dont believe so be it. Not everyone in this world agrees with each other.
Just for the record I would have to agree with you if the warrior would hit the rev limiter but since it dosent i will stick with my opinion on the speed.
2phast4u2catch,
I would have to say 70 to 75 around there but if you trim the fenders it will help and remove dead wight you can easily gain more speed.
Trailblazer.
try a mikuni 150 main jet if depending on how it reacts and the color of the sprak plug you reduce the number or increase it. The K&N filter I found mine for 45 bucks but i think you can find a better deal if oy ulook around.

Yes trailblazer it is well worth the money you will notice en immidiate increase in power I bought mine and im really happy with the performance of my quad its also reusable so you dont have to buy more than one for a very long time.
2phast
I agree with you i ride in mud alot and i will never trim them. But with the mods listed i would say you do not need anything else than a lot of gas you should have plenty of power behind the 350 engine with the mods added.
