I heard a rumor that Yamaha has plans to come out with a new banshee? I also heard honda may be coming out with a 500ex. I think all of these are just rumors thats why i thought i would ask you people!

 

I have heard some Things about a 500cc Banshee 2 Stroke for 05. But I have not heard any thing about a 500EX

 

There will be no new banshee. That is, unless, yammi decides to keep it around after 06.

i heard the 06' banshee is gonna have a twin turbo small block chevy designed by gales banks himself, making seventy-zillion horsepower at the rear wheels![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

(maybe not, www.bankspower.com has some pretty cool turbo business for small blocks, then again, I may get attacked by some angry raptor owners again "HEY, THIS FORUM IS FOR 4-WHEELERS AND 4-WHEELERS ONLY! GRRRR! I'M MAD!")

 

i doubt that yamaha will design a new bike just to have it released for one year. The only way we will see a banshee around after next year is if they totally redesign 2 strokes.
