my brother just bought a 04 z, and i have an o3 warrior. i am gonna sell my warrior and my dirtbike and buy a Yfz 450, which is better.
what can u tell me about the yfz
is it true that u have to put premium gas in it

the z will be no match. in the 04 buyers guide, believe it or not, the yfz was the only quad to get 10 out of 10 stars in every subject. the z didnt do that, it got one 10 and the rest 8's and 7's. i always thought the yfz was strictly track, but its not. it is fast. big jump from a warrior. u need to run 91 or up, it needs higher grade gas because of its higher compression.-rider1169

 

Your brothers Z wont stand a chance. The YFZ is very fast and has a very good feel on the track.

 

most yfzs stock are outrunning rappys z400 are about 2 lengths slower than ,stock raptor

 

id compare a 400ex to a z400 before i compared the z to a YFZ...two totally different bikes.
