i was wondering what would be the best atv 2 buy for my son hes 14 but hes bulit like a 18 yr old hes 5'11 145lbs and he wants something that will go fast but also something he can ride at his buddys trails and the trails are really wild they will most likely need a 4x4 unless u wanna getstuck with a 2x4 so do you know of any atvs that couldfit his needs

 

but there is a price range anything as long as it isnt over $5,000 and is doent have to be new but would b best if it was 1990 and above thanxs

 

if he wants somthing fast try a prairie 650 or 700 if its to big for him try the yamaha 350

 

The wolverine is a good quad And it is a 4x4 All you have to do is put a warn 424 on it and then he can go from 2x4 to 4x4 depending on were he is riding. and it is all done by the pull of a ****. so it can be changed in seconds. they can be jumped and go pretty fast. just an idea. It comes with a rear rack and but you can take it off so you pretty much have a sport 4x4.

 

The prarie is too much. A wolverine sounds like a great choice. Kind of like a yamaha warrior with 4wd. Get a warn 424 like was said, and he'll be very happy. Even a new one should be availible near or below 5k dollars.

 

you might even want to look at the Prarie i know its real fast, and great in the trails!!!!!!!!.

let your son test drive them both

 

Should be able to pick up an eiger for that kind of $$. Most who have one seem to really like it.
