Default I need as much info on the 660 Raptor that I can get!

Ok,,,start off simple...I'm selling my scrammy and going to buy something new....(an 04 right off the showroom floor)...so I've been going in between the 450R, kfx 700, kfx 400, dvx 400, the yfz450, and the 660 raptor...But I want a manual and I want to have reverse...so now my options are the 660 raptor, kfx 400, and dvx 400....Now the truth is is that I prefer the raptor...just because I like the looks and plus I don't care to much for suzuki and thats who made the motors for the other two..the thing is is that I don't know anything about the raptor...so here are some questions.

1. How much do the 04 cost??? Retail???
2. Is it worth the price???
3. How is handling...i.e. going at high speeds...turning...does it ride smooth or like a wagon..etc.
4. Is it comfortable to ride??? (I ride usually all day and I don't need anything hurting my a** if you know what I meen!
5. What is top speed stock??
6. How easy does it shift?? I want something thats pretty smooth
7. Does it only come with electric start??? I know my scrammy has electric start and a pull start for backup
8. Would this be a good trail machine???(Thats mainly all I do is trail ride, but also looking for something with an edge on the drag strip)
9. Has anyone had any problems with there rappy??? I heard someone say it wants to backfire when going at a slow speed..(pretty much asking if there is any downsides to the machine)
10. What is the dry weight??
11. And last question.........................do you like yours?!

I'm just trying to get info so I can start looking for a new quad..and so far the rappy is close to top on the list.................I just hope its not to pricey for me...........but any info you got would be a great help!!! Thanks!

Default I need as much info on the 660 Raptor that I can get!

1. How much do the 04 cost??? Retail??? I have seen 04's go for $6100-6200 out the door. MSRP is $6399

2. Is it worth the price??? Yes.

3. How is handling...i.e. going at high speeds...turning...does it ride smooth or like a wagon..etc. Some say it feels tippy, and some don't. Once you get some differnt tires, most of the tippy feeling is gone.

4. Is it comfortable to ride??? (I ride usually all day and I don't need anything hurting my a** if you know what I meen! Very comfortable.

5. What is top speed stock?? 74mph.

6. How easy does it shift?? I want something thats pretty smooth. Shifts nice and smooth. You can get a IMS direct shifter if you don't like the feel of the shifter. But I like it.

7. Does it only come with electric start??? I know my scrammy has electric start and a pull start for backup. Yes it is electric start.

8. Would this be a good trail machine???(Thats mainly all I do is trail ride, but also looking for something with an edge on the drag strip) Probaly the best trail machine available.

9. Has anyone had any problems with there rappy??? I heard someone say it wants to backfire when going at a slow speed..(pretty much
asking if there is any downsides to the machine) The starter one way is a weak part. But L&A Designs makes a replacement.

10. What is the dry weight?? 398lbs

11. And last question.........................do you like yours?! I love mine.

I think everyhting you asked has been answered. I'll just chime in and say I wouldn't trade mine for anything.
I researched raptors and z-400's a good bit before I bought mine but i always came back to the 660. I'm sure you won't make a mistake either way you go but I definately recommend the raptor/.

I forgot to add, since you trail ride. first thing to replace is the stock swingarm guard. It's plastic. Even my old warrior had a better swingarm guard. I went with prm.

i like my rappy but it stunk when i first had it im on my second one way(getting a l&a designs when it finally is completely dead) and it also had a problem with the carbs they always popped off but you can fix that with new manifolds or boots because the stock ones pop off and make it crap out
