Ok as some of you know i just got my quad put back together and i had a place put my valves in sicne it takes a speacial tool and the idiot that did it said he set it to specs. Well when i went riding today everything was peachy untill i went down this hill and crossed a very small creek and all of a sudden my motor starts pinging terribly, complete loss of power, I get stuck going up the hill, get it unstuck then the dang thing rolls over. I limp it back to the truck and take it home. I new it was coming from the valves so i take off the exhaust valve cover and a damn nut falls off and into my lap, right away i knew where it came from, extremly P.O. i take off the gas tank and the intake valve cover to relize there was no nut on the adjuster. Yeah the nut traveld over/under/threw the camshaft, and I am guessing it most likely bent a valve and very easily could have ruined a piston or the camshaft. And b4 that i had my rims stollen from me. yeah pretty crappy luck hu? But to make this a tech question has anybody every had this happen to them?
