Default Raptor Oil

Right now I run GN4 1040 in my raptor. I'm thinking about switching to Maxima. What do you guys run, and do you have any suggestions? Aside from Yamalube. That's one oil I'm not considering. Thanks.

Yamalube has always worked fine for me...

I have periodically used the 4 cycle oil made by valvoline. Availibe at any autozone or similar auto store.

I have used Maxima oil before and quit because it's just not convenient too expensive. If you do not mind paying $10 a quart it's the only thing too run in your Raptor. I could ride reasonably hard and lay my hand on the cylinder.....very little friction = no heat. They advertise their product is overkill...overkill is a good thing.

Yeah, I went with the Maxima. I have yet to run it with this oil, my starter switch on the bars is shot. I can't start it until I put the new one on this weekend. I only paid $5 a quart, but this was still fairly high. Thanks guys.
