would a bigger back sprocket make it have better bottom end power

Yes a Bigger back Sprocket will give more Low end & So will a Smaller front

Its not going to give you more power, but it will make the gears much shorter, and you will accelerate quicker. It would be an ideal mod to do if you rode alot of tight woods or tracks.
