Default i want to cut my raptor fender how do i do this?

anyone i have no clue how to do this like where do u cut them to make them look awsome?

and then wat do u use to make the edges smooth? if i use sandpaper that would scratch the platic.

and another question:
my chain keeps snapping im going to change the chain and sprockets could it be cuz i put a 12 tooth front sprocket on without changing the chain and back sprocket? and the front is chewing the heck out of the chain?

thanks for the advise

use an airsaw if you have one, or a small hack-saw. Measure points on them, then connect the points with masking tape. this way, they'll be semetricle. you can use 320 grit sand paper, then i would go from that to a wet 600, then maybe a wet 1000 to make them look smooth. Be creative with em, they may come out awesome, or they may look like @$$.

Your chain is probably to tight.

If your chain was old and near being wore out a 12 tooth would not be a good idea.

For cutting the plastic I use a jig saw with a fine blade. Use some masking tape to lay it out the way you think it looks good and to balance each side then use the tape for a guide. Use some 180 grit sand paper to clean up the edge.

kawasaki88man how do you like that alba pipe and jet kit? iam thinking about buying one my self. Hows the power, or the noise, and does it sound good.

About your plastics , my friends and i have always cut them with jigsaws or sawzall. just be carefull then smooth it out with some sanding.

I found the best way is to take off your fenders, take a Dry-Erase markers, draw on your fenders and pick a line you like, and cut it with a dremel, then take Snowmobile windshield trim, and put around the edges. Looks good.

i forgot to mention, it's easier to follow the "crease" if you cut from the back side of the fender.
