Default 2004 raptor 1 way fix,,,,,true????

A riding buddy just recently bought a 2004 raptor,,,,,and the salesman told him he would not have to worry about the 1 way going out,,,,,,basicly that Yamaha had 'fixed' the problem.

Is there any truth to this,,,,,,or is the salesman a typical smoke blower?????

I've seen somewhere that they redesigned the oneway.

Yamaha made the one-way, flywheel and gear all "bigger". Its still the same design. L&A is working on a replacement for that one also

You would be surprised the amount of 2004 owners that call me for the one-way already, I have to turn em back to the dealer, and usually its the bolts that have backed out because there wasnt locktite on em.

Knowsalot posted the 04 changes on here a long time ago and the one way parts were on the list. He told me that they had not been significantly redesigned and that it probably wasnt worth installing them in the older machines.
