hi everyone the last few weeks my brother and i have been wanting to build a drag only 4-wheeler. but deciding which one to build up is confusing. i know if we modify the banshee it will run the number but we will pay an arm and a leg(2 cylinders). on the other hand there is the sport not totally sure it will run the number but it is cheaper. either way would you guys give me some feedback. it is very very very much appreciated!

With a good set of Toomey's on a decent shape 'Shee you are straight runnin 5.2's or 5.3's. With a cut- tranny and extended swingarm and an alcohol ( the carb replacement cost me about 400 ), you should runnin in the 4.6 to 4.8 range with a good set of tires, we use Ohtsu Pro Wedges at our track. Hope this helps

Forget the sport. If you wanna run, run the Banshee. Its not that exzpensive and its a proven winner. The sport is gonna be WAY more expensive to build and since not many people run them, you will probably be going through some trial and error. Take my advice, run the Banshee..

thanks for the input guys!
razormazer, i'm guessing that you run
in the dirt from the type of tires that
you run. that 4.6-4.8 in the dirt is
like runnin a 5.2-5.3 in the sand. not
trying to offend you i'm just sayin
it's harder to run a 4.8 in the sand
thus more money.
RoostKing, no trial and error, i have been doing some research and really it's cheaper to do the sport. i would really like to do the banshee but i don't know if my budget allows me.

once again thanks and i hope i didn't offend you and if i did i'm sorry
