Raptor cooling fan question
#1
Today my temp light came on. I was putting around slow giving rides to the kids. Anyway, I killed it right away to let it cool. When I turned the key on with the motor off to let the fan run.....no fan! I looked at it and it was barely turning, and then stopped but was still making noise.
Anybody else have a similar problem?
Remember this quad is only two months old. (But ridden a lot in those two months)
It might have something to do with the swim it took two weeks ago.???!

I've heard of problems with the thermal switch. Must have been the swim. I bet they would cover it under warranty but I don't think I would mention the swim.

You probably want to take the quad in to get checked out. Are you spitting coolant from the coolant rezzie
overflow tube? If yes, then you have a blown head gasket. Have the shop check out the fan circuit. Mine didnt
come on for two years until I had them go over this circuit. Good luck.
