2003 Grizzly,,, WONT SHOW NUETRAL ?? Help !!
#1
Hi Guys: Once again, I come online looking for all the knowledge here. In the last few days my bike is acting up. I have only 17 hours on the bike if that helps. When I turn on the key ,sometimes the green dash Neutral light is on, sometimes off. All other lights work, and the bike is in neutral. If the light is not on, I can't start my NEW bike. I move the handle to high and reverse, lights work. If I wiggle the handle some in neutral, the green light sometimes comes on. Today I tried for 10 minutes and could not get the neutral light on. The bike will still start by pull-cord if the light is off, but no electric start. Does anybody know where I can look to see what may be wrong? Any input is really appreciated....Thank-You in advance...Terry!!

Hi ....WEll I tried the bike today again after reading things here. Still no neutral light when in neutral. I pulled the gear lever into PARK and NO park light either, sqeezed the rear brake , BUT, the bike DID start. With the bike running, I put it back into Neutral, but still no green light. The bike will start in Park if I am sqeezing the brake, even though the parking brake light is not lit up. Is this telling me a certain switch or part is broken? Any input guys? Thank-You...Terry E.

the grizzly will start in any gear, if you push down on the rear brake on the right hand floorboard. so, the lights are not the starting problem. seems to me there is a short somewhere in the dash guage. take it in, i am guessing it's still under warrenty? let them fix it. but it will start as long as you press down on the rear brake.
