Hi, I am new to quads and I just came across this forum. Maybe someone can help me. I have a problem with my son's raptor 50. It will only start with the choke all the way on. I will let it warm up for about 10 min and when I take the choke off the engine just dies. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions before I take it to the dealer and look like an idiot if it is something simple. Any info appreciated. Thanks.

 

Has it been sitting up for a long time? Sounds like you just may have a gummed up carb.

 

It started when he was riding. I noticed he was not able to even have enough power to cruise. It has been sitting for about 2 weeks since.
