I have had my shifting linkage bent twice, once to the point where I was stuck in deep mud and couldn't hit reverse. I really don't know how it has gott'n bent out of shape but it has. I was just wondering if any other grizz owners has had similar problems. The rod is kinda rinky dink and I could come up with an easy fix, but just wanted to know if ya'll have this problem.

I have had the same problem on my Grizzly. Once where I had trouble shifting to reverse and once shifting to low. I just pulled on the wimpy little shift rod and it bent back to the right position. I don't think all the heat around this rod helps make it any stronger. There were a few people on the Highlifter forum complaining of the same problem a couple weeks ago, so apparently it is common.

Yama,
I think you are right. That Tazgrizz is a trouble maker. The nerve of that guy to even think he could have a problem with his Grizz. We all know that is impossible. Tazgrizz lives close to me. I say you come over and we go to his house and rough him up. That will teach him to ask a question about the precious Grizzly.

Ha! Greg

grizzzzzz what pink wire are you talking about? My foot brake was a cable that went from the foot brake to the shifter. I just readjusted the cable and now I can shift into reverse with out using the brake. Tim
