Default How much would you pay???

My buddy is looking for a wheeler, and my neighbor is selling a 2001 Raptor. I was just checking to compare prices.

2001 Raptor
aftermarket front bumper
GYTR or w/e it's called slip on muffler
Full skids (chassis,a-arms,swingarm)
aftermarket fenders
graphics kit
Pro-Taper fat bars
plus all of the original parts
he'll take $4,000.00

is this too much to pay? And should my buddy have to worry about tanny problems with a 2001?

Buy like a cycle trader and compare prices, what would a good deal here might not be a good deal somewhere else. But to me, that sounds pretty fair if its in good shape.

Its hard to say. Go get a cycle trader and get comps in your area. Find out what mods have been done to the quad and if you can get a feel for the maintenance that was done to the quad, either receipts or what maintenace parts he has on hand, may give you an idea what kind of shape the quad is in. Does it look like its been rolled? Look at the frame, skid plates, anything that would indicate excessive wear and tear.

$4000. for:
aftermarket front bumper
GYTR or w/e it's called slip on muffler
Full skids (chassis,a-arms,swingarm)
aftermarket fenders
graphics kit
Pro-Taper fat bars
plus all of the original parts

is not bad...especialy if those aftermarket fenders are in good shape.

but beware: i would take that thing out for a good ride and shift through those gears over and over again.

I've been trying to sell the raptor in "my pics" for months now for $5K and no biters. that thing is a 12K Raptor thats been rebuilt including upgrading the tranny and a whole new chasis.

anyways. all my buds jerk me around. no one will lay the dough down. i know as soon as someone comes to pick it up...they're gonna try and make a last minute bid. but F them. they had there chance and i hope you tight ***** F'rs are reading this too. Your dead to me...YOU'RE ALL DEAD TO ME!

uhm. sorry dude...yeah ...4g's is great. go get it. ride on.
