Default voltage regulator on warrior

Ive had a warrior now for a couple of months and it seems to keep going through spark plugs. IT started bogging out a couple of days after i had it so i changed to a new plug....it ran fine....a couple of days later it did the same so i changed the plug again,it stopped. So it does fine with a new plug but it wont idle,or rev past about half throttle when it has this problem. IS it be the Voltage Regulator messing with the plug & burning it out?????? ive wire wheeled the coil grounds, reverse ground and all others i seen, replaced the carb/intake boot, the carbs been cleaned out, has a k&n and ive made sure all connections are tight. Anyhow if anyone has had theirs do this or knows why its doing it please help!! thanks

I dont know what jets are in it bc they were in there when i bought it. Is the pilot jet inside the carb? and if so is it the one thats in the side of the bowl or the one that sits between the floats in the raised aluminum piece?? I know its hard to explain but im relativly new to this type of 4 wheeler & dont know which jet is which. Thanks for your responses guys & im sure w/ some more help ill get it figured out

the pilot screw is right on the bottom when you take the bowl off it will be right on the lip that the bowl mounts on it will bw at a angle and it is very small but very simple to try so take about a 1/4 turn out and drive it around and see if it runs better then after you get done riding take your plug out and see what color it is that way you don't make it too lean. just post the plug color

ok, i just tore into the carb and unscrewed the pilot a quarter turn. It did seem to help it as far as power but now it idles high and the idle screw is as far out as i can get it to go. It cuts out at the very top end and the plug is a charred black except for a very very small part that is a little lighter right on the top. Seems to be helping so whats next??
