Updated Banshee??
#1
Will Yamaha update the Banshee, like they did the Warrior/Raptor 350?
Seems like they wouldnt want to spend any $$ on a bike whos days are numbered (2 strokes on the way out). I could be wrong.
It would be sweet if they did!!!!
Anyone know???

They would have to make some major changes in order to get the banshee smog legal. I don't see it happening any time soon, but what do I know.
There are so many banshees in use right now...even if they stopped selling them today...you won't see them go away anytime soon.

All they have to do is say that it is a race closed corse bike then it dosn't have to fallow the law. However State parks dont have to allow those years in to the park. Oh well It's only dominated in speed for like 17 years and still counting. Pretty good run if I do say so myself.
I just feel bad for the futur riders that are never going to experiance the hit of a 2 stroke. Poor kids.

I would love to see Yamaha change the looks a little, put powervalve cylinders with better exhaust on the bikes, redo the airbox design, and put some radial tires on them. I would buy the first one. That would be a great last couple of years before going out.
