It looks amazing Ken!! It really turned out awesome after all this wait. Were all happy for ya . Why Alba? Go with the best only, Elka is the way to go.

Might end up being Elka shocks later this summer. I got a buddy watching ebay for me. But if I don't find what I want on ebay, I'll get the Alba Suspension kit with a-arm's, shocks, and brake lines.

All depends on what I find.

660R,

I am not quite in tune with the abbreviations around here with yall Raptor guys [CR..IE:CraycraftRacing]..................

When I first saw this thread, I had to check it out......."What idiot bored and stroked a CR500 dirtbike!?!?!" I asked myself........LOL

Anyway, Great pics of the Raptor. You did a great job. I love the lowered quads.

By the way, I have wondered this for quite some time..............

What is that in the picture of your author icon?
I am guessing it's one of those blurry photographs of BigFoot???

Just wondering

Just a background I blended with photoshop, with Yamaha660R over it. LOL. I created it so I would have a custom icon.

And I was very happy with the finished product, and I have enjoyed everyone's opinion's on my quad. I am very proud of the way it run's, and the way it looks. So thanks to everyone who has posted so far. It means a lot to know that you guys like my quad.

BTW...you don't have much of a option when you have such small size requirements, but it's all good. It came out pretty good and I have used it for quite sometime.

NICE RAPTOR! I am getting ready to make it my backround on my desk top...but I think Jon Guetter on the YFZ450 upside down looks better....no offence you see..

Now, while if you were go with elka's, I think you would be happy, but I think elka's are waayy to over rated....there are only a few pros that use em but I am not saying you wouldn't be happy....but I would go with Axis or I have heard of this package for a Raptor by Gibson...comes with +2 a arms and quadruple rated shocks and gives you 19 inches of travel over the stock 11 inches....just a thought..

Later,
