Default jetting??

I am running a pro flow foam with no lid. I got a 150 and 155 jet in today and bike still runs lean without lid. With lid it did better. I also have 160 and 165 main jets but they are the fatter jets shaped like a mushrom . u cannot use the little sleeve with them though. Was wondering if u can use them or not, cause i tried them and still ran lean. I also moved the clip position down to the 4th slot. I also have one size bigger pilots but i didnt think i would have to do al this for just a filter with no lid. I could get it running good with the lid i think but i want to order the adapter to get rid of the air box so i want to see if i can get it running with no lid first. i also have about 10 9ea-9 plugs left from the 686 and was wondering if i could use them in my new bike or to stick with the stock ones.
Thanks Rudy

What exhaust do you have Rudy? You don't want to use those other jets.

is something wrong?? Right now it finally runs pretty good. I have 190 and 195 main jets and 25 pilots and clip on 4th slot from top. I didnt have that much jetting when i had the 686. Just dont make sence. I have stock exhaust with proflow foam with out pre filter and no lid.

That's very odd. I would think 155/160 would be way rich.

is it possible. Its runing good but i am at 195 and 200 mains with clip on fifth spot with 25 pilote and about 4 and 1/2 turns out. I checked float, ok, checked for air leaks, found none. I put the lid on and it fouled a plug so that seems like i would have no air leak in boots or filters. Do they make bigger jets than 200. I am thinking about getting a jet kit to try that , what is better, dynojet or gytr???

I think the GYTR jet kit only goes to 165, dynojet kit wouldn't be big enough either. What needles you running, the dynojet needles would give you more fuel than the stock ones.

I've had good luck with the GYT-R kit and since you have the jets already that's what I'd get.
