Default Watch out for the TREE!!!!

Went riding yesterday at a buddies house and we had just gotten on our bikes Me on my YFZ cuz on his raptor and TY on his KX250.. i take off in front blazing through this trail and whip the rear end right and then to compensate i go back left a little and just enough to catch a TREE!!! well after flying sidways through the air and landing half on quad half off i realize im ok... but i look down and the left rear tire is kocked sideways a pretty good amount... wow ive hit stuff alot harder than that before and never bent and axle before... but now i guess its time to put an extended axle on the YFZ..... Does anybody have any experience with Lonestar axles or can anybody recomend a good company to get it from.... i know the lonestar has a lifetime warrenty which would be helpful..... Thanks

Justin

why do you want an extended axle if you hit trees now?

better handling so he can avoid tree's. lol i hear dura-blue axles are weak but have never seen a bent one. its still prolly stonger than a stock axle.

It was rider error..... And i understand that if its wider obviously i will have a better chance of hitting trees. But thats simply not the point if i rode in only woody conditions i would not buy an extended axle in the first place..... MX is a big factor also.... but thats for the advice Honda if i do end up purchacing a aftermarket i will problibly go with lonestar just because of the lifetime warrenty.. then i can bend them all i want and will be replaced.

lonestar may not be best but durablue is definatly worst i saw a 250r at jack frost land a table pretty good and when he tried to turn i noticed half the axle with the tire were on top of the table
