I have heard of people putting snowmobile cylinders on banshee bottom ends. Does anyone have an idea on where to start? Which brand is closest? thanks.

I think that Yamaha would be the Closest. But I am not sure.

Yeah I'd say K&T too. Most of the cylinders used are rotax(Skidoo) but some use Artic Cat twins and even triples. Now that they've come out with billet cases you can use either a 15mm or 20mm stroker crank with them. The biggest a stock set of cases will take is a 14mm stroker. For these cases go to MattoonMachine.com,they're around 2500-3000 bucks a set!It is very expensive to build one of these motors and the crank in the stock cases will usually push itself down on the clutch(pto) side of the cases, taking out the bearing and the case.Hope this helps.

With the cost of reworking your cases to accept the rotax cylinders, you could almost buy a set of Cheetahs that will bolt on and make more power.
