Suspension Question

The rear shock on my blaster is adjusted so that it is very tight because it always seemed like it was bottoming out. Now im not sure if it was hitting bottom or not. I find that the a$$ end seemes to bouncs and "buck" when it hits somthing. Is this because the suspension is set to tight? It alwyas seems like the smallest bumb in the road sends my a$$ end in the air. I know the suspension on the blaster isn't the best but could I soften it up to fix this problem?
Thanks.
P.S anyone know what size wrench is needed to adjust the rear shock on a blaster? Maybe 25mm??

Sounds to me that it is set a little too hard, your preload sounds like it could be loosened up. A good way to find if you are bottoming out your shock is to put a zip tie(tie it and then cut off the excess) on the shock and see when you compress the shock if the tie goes down to the bottom...if it does, then you need it set harder.
