I took my 00 Mod Banshee to the first drag race of the year today. I was in the Mod class and I had the fastest time of the day of 4 Sec and this was in 500Ft.

4 seconds in 500ft? Please...crankensteins, cheetahs, etc etc run high 3's and low 4's in 300ft. And you can cover almost an 1/8th mile in 4 seconds?
Go to planetsand and post that..please!!

and if you did the math how fast do you think that would be? so to go 500ft in 4 seconds how fast is that?if you could lauch to 60mph with no time off the clock ( hard to do if not impossible) it would take 5.68 seconds to 500 feet

Who did your motor work?

I should have went with them instead of the stroker I just built for drag. I will be running over 200 degrees of exhaust duration, with a 12 window porting. Dang, I could have got by with a less that 190 degree MX port.

I am just hoping for low 7's in the 1/8 with a +10 swingarm. How did you hang on?
