Wolverine start problem

Default Wolverine start problem

Our Wolverine was backed into the garage and when we went to start it again a week later, nothing. The neutral light comes on, lights work, battery has a full charge and etc but it doesn't even attempt to spin over. Absolute silence. Nothing at all. Possible reverse switch problem? Any way to test this? Anyone having this problem before? It has never given us any grief at all before. Any advice or previous experience with this would greatly appreciate it..Dean

Default Wolverine start problem

check your engine "kill" switch on left side of your handlebar. make sure its in the engine run postion. thats most likely the problem.

No, that's not the problem. I've checked that before. I'm guessing it is the start button or the reverse switch but need to know if there is some way to check it without buying a new one and finding out that was not the problem. Or it may be something else..Thx...Dean

Default Wolverine start problem

Mess around with the wires under your fenders on the left side try gettign a friend to push the button while you jiggle them. That was my problem one time

Default Wolverine start problem

Check the fuses under your seat. Hang with me on trying to explain this. The positive wire running from the battery to the cdi box. Check all the wires around this area. One of the wires that runs along the frame has a tendicy (spelling) to rub down to the wires and ground out on the frame (has happened to me).

Default Wolverine start problem

you might try spraying some WD-40 around the start button, mine has its times when i have to push it around a bit with my thumb to get good contact.
