Alright, let me just say this. Im 14, and if u have a KX100, which i know how they run, you will definately not like the blaster. The kfx100 will outrun a blaster. You would be fine with a banshee as long as ur not an @$$ and actually really know how to ride. The raptor is easier to ride because its bigger and it doesnt have a powerband. So go with whatever u want to, they are both great fourwheelers

 

First, I am not trying to stereotype anyone. With that being said, I have seen very few 12-13 year olds who need to be on a banshee. People in this age group are easily influenced to ride beyond their abilities, and a banshee is no machine to get and start trying to show out on, especially if you are inexperienced. You can probably handle yourself very well on a quad, so I will just give you this advice. If you decide to get one, don't try to show out or act like you are all macho to impress other riders. Ride the banshee for a long time and get used to it before getting crazy at all. I got my first banshee at 16, and it was a handful. I had been riding quads for 12 years at that time, too.

thanx guys im kinda leaning towards the raptor casue if i need reverse its there and if i have a banshee and i need 2 go backwards id have 2 push it and try 2 pick the back up and also i would be riding at like 9 so i dont want any complaints, i got 1 from 1 of my stupid neighbors.

 

Ultimately it up to his parents to buy him a banshee or not, I don’t think he’s going to pay for it.
