In the new issue of Dirt Wheels there is an article on the 04 Raptor. In the article it say's..."With only gearing changes. a stock Raptor is easily capable of reaching 95mph." How is this possible if the top speed of a stock Raptor is 72--75mph?Thats an incredible gain in speed just by changing gearing. Is it a miss print? If it is true what gearing and why isn't everybody doing it?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

sure u can do that very easily. u cant go up to many teeth in the front tho because of room, but drop a few teeth in the back and ur there, the raptor is a very torquey strong pulling machine, it struggles very little to pull that kind of gearing, but it takes longer to get there-ofcourse

 

Yes i could probably gear a LT80 to go 90 but it would take all day to get there.
