Default Raptor clutch problem possibly ?

Ok I have a 02 raptor. Today I went out and drove it a bit and noticed a problem.

Was riding around on my street. I was in first and eased on it and got going.

I decided to gun it WOT and mess around some. Well when I did, the engine revved massively but the bike didnt go, it slowly eased faster.

In any gear the bike will do the same thing, you start going and give it more than half throttle and the engine will rev and the bike wont go any faster.

It is geared 12/44 with 22s so it should reach for the sky whenever its at WOT.

Im assuming the clutch is slipping under load. What do I need to do to fix this?

Try adjusting your clutch cable.

?!?!

How would it go from being fine one week and then 2 weeks later it does this. I dont see how the cable could magically move on its own.

loosen it first, you want a quarter inch of play on the lever. If that don't work, it's probably time for plates and springs. My 03 has already needed them. POS

My Raptor clutch from day 1 has slipped until it warms up. Just let the engine warm up.....as you should already be doing before giving it the punk throttle.
