Raptor carb issues
My Raptor likes to stall inder hard breaking-cornering. And the idle likes to rev. I sometimes have to come to a stop and release the clutch lever a little to slow it down then it settles down. Or I can turn the idle knob 1 full turn and then turn it back. Probably needs some adjustment somewhere. Anyone have any ideas as to what's wrong? Raptor has never had any carb work at all.

You might want to check your choke plunger and see if it is rusted up and sticking. On the side of the carbs is a small black plastic nut where the choke cable goes into the carbs. Unscrew the nut and pull the plunger out, gently. If it doesn't come out very easy try some penetrating oil and work the plunger around if you can untill it frees up.

Opps, its stuck in there and the cable came out. Sounds like a trip to the $hop. Hope I get it back in time for my Memorial weekend trip to Little Sahara. What a bitch.
