yfz trail riding

Any input how these do on trails will really be usefull, Ive heard dunes, track, and drags, but not to much on trail riding. Example: how do they do on steep hills, and other sticky situations?
I plan on pipe and jetting it, and dropping a tooth on the front sporcket, do you guys think it will be a good trail machine? I do a lot of track and trail riding, need a quad that can do both. The 440 has been a great quad for this, but it's time for me to update.
Comparisons would be nice to.

Hey McFly, Haven't heard from you in a while..... How are things over on your side of the pond? Still happy with the Rappy, or are you crossing over to the Yfz side too ?

I think that the stock yfz is a bit harsh out of the box for trail riding - but with a bit or work has proven to be the best quad available for virtually any situation - I still prefer my pred with its much more compliant suspension for the rough stuff though, just my 2-cents
