Default Diaphram in Raptor Carbs

I took my carbs apart a few days ago and noticed that one of the diaphrams weren't seated very good in the cap. Because it was running like this, it won't get a good seal again. It is ok to just change one, or should I change both at the same time. It is a 03 with low miles and wasn't dogged out and the other one is fine. If anything, please tell me exactly what these do, so I can decide. Thanks.

If the other one is fine i couldnt see any reason to change it. However i am extremly picky with my raptor and i would change both they couldnt be all that expensive. As for what they do i cant give you a very good idea really. I know they are vacum controlled and have somthing to do with keeping the needles where they belong.

I had a problem with one of the carb diaph, one of them had a tear in it, I just replaced on of them (Like $23) and havent had any problems. if the other one is fine, I see no reason to buy two, maybe just to have one as a spare but I wouldnt buy it.
