need help on jet size for raptor
im putting in a k&n air filter and want to put in new jets , i live in west virginia, and am at about 1,500 feet, running a hmf slip on system, what jet sizes do you guys recommend? and can i get away with just changing the main jets and leaving the stock pilots, and do i need to move the needle up or down a clip?......all help will be greatly appreciated

My Raptor with full Yoshi pipe K&N & holes in lid I run 150/155 mains and went up on pilot size to I think 26 or 26.5, whatever it took And I live at 3500' jetting is right on. Ride mostly at 5000 feet. I'd think you want to jet at least this rich where you live.

pilots should be ok with just a slip on, and try going up 2 sizes on each main and run for awhile so you get a good reading on the plug, and go from there you might need to lean it down or go fater depends on your bike. it's all trial and error, but that would be a safe starting point

your pilots should be fine, they are only used at idle and just off idle, so unless you're having problems starting or dying out at the bottom end and low rpms then i wouldn't mess with them. i have no air box and run a full dmc exaust, and a degree key and never changed my pilots, until i went with the dyno jet kit. it you're using all stock stuff and just a slip on with filter then you don't need to mess with them.
