Rear Disc 04 Raptor and skid plate
#1
Well it happened the stock skid plate got crunched by a rock and now I see that the rear disc is warped!
So my question is what am I looking at price wise for a new disc? and should I go stock or maybe aftermarket?
Would an aluminum skid plate really hold up any better under abuse? If so whats a good one to buy?
Thanks

I would go aftermarket, Braking's wave rotors cut down on weight and increase performance by keeping the rotor cooler longer. I'm not sure on prices, so consult Dennis Kirk or Rocky Mountain. As far as a skid plate, yes it will hold up better than stock. DG makes the best aluminum skid that I have seen, it runs around $145 and covers the entire skid plate. I have a White Brothers skid you can check out on my pics, it weighs less, but covers less, but only cost $65.

The DG sucks, it didnt bolt up without having to modify it first and it looks very pretty with all the welded bends and contours but it bent up to easy, one ride in ocotillo wells Ca. and it came back hanging off and bent to hell. I had to reweld it and straighten it back. it costs way to much for the poor quality they give.( maybe I just got a bad one from them)
