just wanted to get some info on lowering my qaud for the most part my racing
is done on mostly flat tracks and i do quite a bit of rec. riding i was thinking in the 2'' range
and will those lowering blocks they sell on ebay really work? by the way will it affect the perf. of
my works shocks

First off, lowering blocks are only to be used for flat track racing, drag racing, duning with no jumps, basically you should not jump with them at all. If you still want them, be aware that they will not work with all shocks. I know from personal experience that they will not work with Elka shocks because the bottom area of the spring is much wider than the stock shocks. My guess is that they will not fit with Works shocks either, but they might. You will just have to try it.

The best way to lower you quad if you are after the best performance, is with a set of "zero preload" shocks like the Elka SSD, Axis, etc. They will lower your quad 2-3 inches and give you far better handling. You can sell your Works shocks and make some of the money back.
