My Banshee whipped up on by a V-force :(
#1
Over the weekend I was down at the Amorgosa dunes in Southern Nevada with my Banshee and lined up with a V-force figuring I would spank him. Race one I started in 1st gear and got a really bad start wheeling the whole way and got utterly blasted.....not even close. Second race I got a little more serious and started in second gear but still couldn't keep my front end down. It was closer but he still beat me. The thing sounded like a built Chevy 350 and everyone on the hill was commenting on how loud it was. The guy took off so I wasn't able to find out what mods he had on it other than he said "a big bore kit & some other stuff".....I have heard that they are dogs but that sucker was fast and loud as hell. If I had an extended swingarm I am sure I would have beat him as he didn't really pull away once I got out of 2nd gear. Just nailed me on the starts.

see thats half of racing is getting a good start im sure he had alot of money dumped into it plus its an auto so that helps when shifting cause its so much quicker i dont care how fast u can shift auto is still faster after the start sense u cant dump the clutch

Well I own both, and I must say the V-force in stock form is very de-tuned from the factory. With just pipe's and some clutch mods the KFX 700 picks up quite a bit of HP..... This winter I will be installing a 800cc big bore kit with cams and a new CDI unit ( the stock CDI is very restrictive ) I already have pipe's and clutch mods...Maybe some port work as well, and a little bit of nitrous too!!!
