Why Yamalube??

What's the difference between Yamalube and "normal" 2-stroke oil?
I don't want to hear 'I just want to stick with what the factory recommends'. That's not an answer. I want to hear FACTS. What makes it better? Really?

I highly doubt it is better, we used to run that stuff in our 250r......and yeah its expensive....I know on the polaris side(not srue about yamaha though) but we like to run amsoil.....guys say it is better and a lot cheaper, its supposed to be top of the line. I'm not sure now that I said all of that, if they make it in 2 stroke oil though.

im not sure what the difference is on 2 stroke oil but someone told me that it was made to lubricate the gears better on a four stroke. (like the warrior where the engine oil is the same as the tranny oil). i believe i heard that on a thread on this site somewhere. but i have no idea where.

i can answer this for you buddy the reason people use yamalube is because it voids the warrenty of the atv or whatever you have if you use any other oil
now i dont know y that is probubly because they want more money but i havent seen any difference since i stopped useing it

ok, well i guess it might have speacial lubricants for the bike itself that it might need or run better off of or lubricate better.....but my suggestion is keep using it cause i mean look at it YAMAlube .....made probably specifically for YAMAha
