The more you save the better it sounds great for that price just be cautious check every single nut a bolt if possible to be on the safe side.

ummm, it shouldnt cost too much. if i were you i would take it to a dealer and have them change the oil, tighten the chail, grease it all up, and basically ask them to give it a once over. i cant imagine it costing too much though, i think you should buy this thing man. i have a 1989 warrior that is in emaculate shape, and all ive really dont to it is change the oil, keep the filter clean, chain tension up there and thats about it for major maintenance. i really wanna get a raptor but id hate to see the warrior go, ya know what i mean. they are great machines, you just have to take care of them and theyll last a lifetime.......email me and ill send ya some pics if you want............mcouture@nmu.edu

sounds good to me hard to find a good quad that hasnt been beat on and no i wouldn't waste the money bringing it to the dealer if it doesn't smoke and has been adult driven there will be nothing really the dealer can check out as for greasing and tighting the chain do it you self its all pretty basic and you can start learning alot by doing it you self

I just bought an 88 that's in the same condition. He told me where he had it seviced so I was thinking of calling them and asking if it was in good shape. But this guy is a friend and very clean with ALL his stuff. He was the only one who rode it from the time it was new. So how bout calling the place he gets it seviced at?

BTW I was happy to pay $2300 for it w/paddles, a new battery, All Red Plastic, polised, owners manual and registration
