Default YFZ 450 Kick Start?

Just wondering if there is a way to mount a kickstart from a YFZ450 bike on the quad and remove the electric start. If so, what modifications need to be done to the plastic to make it work?

Thanks,

Ken

I don't know who has them, but they are available. There is a little circle to the upper left I believe of the crankcase where the kick-start mount is for the YFZ because they expect people to yank the electrical components and put a kicker on it. I don't know if you'll need to modify the plastic, but I doubt it.

why not just keep the electric starter on and have a kick start? a electric start is alot faster to use in a race then a kick start.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not a fan of the electric start. I like the simplicity and light weight of a kickstart. I'll get a machine with electric start and reverse, when I'm old and gray!!
