Actualy, I don't have any video of it. They were both there but I never got to see Mario run at all let alone vs Sam. I know they did run each other and Sam was trying to dial his quad in for the temps that we had at Dumont. I'll let Sam talk of his result as I didn't see it, but I can report that I wasn't close enough to grab his rear grab bar, LOL.

The dunes were spectacular to say the least. Smooth as glass, didn't get overly hot on Saturday and Sunday am was nice. Dumont dunes when smooth like now are some of the best in the country, imo.

Mario is familiar with those carbs and was helping Sam change the jetting. His quad ran good. Probably 6-8 bikes ahead of me and still pulling. Larry on my quad was probably 4 bikes or so behind Sam, (weight difference). From what I understand Sam did not beat Mario. Was alot closer than before though. Yes, you should have went. The dunes were great and Larry, myself and my older son Derek went on several good rides through the ice rink, er, I mean dunes. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

That's good to hear about Sam cause I don't think his jetting is anywhere near close and then he can work on the gearing.

Dave Are you going to post the vids? Did sam give you the tape.

The dunes were unbelievable. Sam Is much closer than he was before. I have done a few more things to my bike so it is hard to tell , but I know he gaine hella bike lengths. The heat was catching up to me so I baled out.

And goood job Sixsixty!!!! Sam may even be pretty happy with how his bike ran. There is always room for improvement.

 

No, Sam did not give me a tape. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img] We even saw them packing up when we went on our last ride. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]. Would like to have seen that to. Maybe Sam knows how or knows someone that can make it an internet file. My quads doing ok. I like it better than before. Larrys gaining on me though and just changed jetting and gearing to almost be even with me again. If his 2nd gear wasn't popping out I think he'd be even with me and we'd be swapping wins again. Of course, he may have changed cams and just hasn't fest up yet. LOL

 

OH, Well I guess it wouldnt be fair till he gets his bike dialed 100%. His bike is makeing good torque though. As long as it held together and was jetted safe AFTER we set the carb WAY more rich. It was too lean, But with a few adjustments I made he could not keep his front end down even with the +6 swingarm. Not bad at all IMO. I know there is room for improvement. He may also need to get used to the new type of power band and stretch out 2nd a little more.

Oh and Sixsixty, that was smart of you to go fatter on the PJ. It Could have been ugly.

LOL...nope no cam changes yet. I only came close once. The rest of the time you had be by 3 plus.
