Good for you...

1.) pretty good
2.)7
3.)4 (it can do alright.... not big stuff though).
4.) 55 on sand
5.) dunno but we get about 2hrs-2 1/2 hrs
6.) yup
7.) We get all our parts from www.rockymountainatv.com. But for high performance, Trenga and Trinity are good
8.) not if your take some precautions.... Get an in-line fuel filter (Yamaha doesn't install em stock) and Get an Oil Injector Block Off kit... 2 of my friend's blasters seized up on them because of that.

1: yes, u gotta kno how to
2: 8 mine was stock and i could get it to 6th gear, n its a thrill
3: 3 i would buy new suspension if you jump higher than 5ft, with my old one it hurt like hell. blaster suspension is crappy, bottoms out real easy!
4: 55ish
5: Never kept track ???
6: yes but i recomend buying an oil injector block off kit and just premixing your fuel, i had bad experience and mine failed!
7: Toomey B-1 pipe kit, new reeds, tires (the stock balloons are crappy), also new suspension (if you are a jumper), many good sites , a main blaster one is trenga racing.
8: not really just keep it clean

PS: Blaster is a perfect starter bike, thats what i started on and they have enough power to when u fix em up they can fly! perfect bike and good choice!

Happy riding on your neww girl!!
First, dont get the block of kit! why??
There tuned to run with oil injection.
If you maintain it, it will give you no trouble
Second, I would get a 240 kit for it, The Vito's ones are bad ****!!
