Default banshee vs. yfz

i disagree with head, i say that the banshee can be a damn fine mx machine you have to spend alot of money on suspension parts. plus its better in the dunes and drag. As for woods, anything goes in the woods cause you cant go fast. Not dissin the 450 but you just cant beat the powerband of a banshee.

A buddy of mine just sold his fully decked out just rebuild 87 shee for 900 bucks.

hey radfastdude I am not sayin I expect all the mods to be out for the 450 what I am saying is the there are a ton of mods for the banshee and not the yfz as of right now. heck the pred has been out longer then the yfz adn has less mods then it. they are coming around though. what i really hate is everyone saying they have stuff for the pred and puttin it in catologs and magazines and then they either dont make it or only make like 3. and devin speak for yourself when u say u cant go fast in the woods...you obviously havent seen some people in the trees man. you can buy all the suspinsion u want for the banshee it still wont handle as well as a yfz will especialy if the yfz is set up a little different. its new technology. with a lot of money u can change the hole front end of the banshee to make it handle as good but then it really wouldnt be a true banshee and you really couldnt compare the 2.

Im talking from my own personal experience and im comparing it to mxing and drag, compared to those you go extremely slow in the woods. As for the suspension thing you can put whatever suspension you want on a banshee if you know how to change the parts out, just like you could put a banshee motor on a 450 frame.

we have 2 98 banshees for sale, with a few mods. both need new top ends though. i'llhave to ask dad about the price. we wanted $3000 each but now that the top-end went, i'm not sure what he wants for it.

the piston is shot or something, we haven't tore them down yet. our black one only has 40 psi of compression in the left cylinder, and the other is acting like the black one right before it dropped compression.
