GAME 6 CALGARY CLEARLY SCORED AND IT WAS SHOWN ON CAMERA, THEN THEY LOST IN OVERTIME CAUSE THE GOAL DID NOT COUNT, THIS IS COMPLETE BS THEY WON THAT GAME AND IF YOU ASK ME THEY DESERVE THAT CUP FAR MORE THAN TAMPA

I think Tampa deserved it...they played a great game last night.

Though both tems should be commended for making it that far. I'm a rangers fan...so I may not see a cup for a while.

 

Oh...and the rules are that the puck has to go 100% over the line....I guess they coould not see that in the review.

 

If you watched the game last night you saw the replay where ABC changed the camera angle and proved that the puck was not 100% over the line. That means, Tampa won Game 6 fair and square. In addition, Tampa scored 106 points during the year and definitely deserved the Stanley Cup more than Calgary.

Regardless, Calgary still had a season to be very proud of.

 

Just to add to that, the only Calgary goal was scored courtesy of an absolutely ridiculous penalty call.

BOTH teams played outstandingly well, while only Tampa got the cup, there were no losers.

 

Hockey, is that what they do up there in Canada, when they are not cutting down trees?

Just playing, Its like everythng else: Tampa, in my opinion, got the calls because the league needed Tampa to win alot more than Calgary. Just like De La Hoya needed to win alot more then Strum, Sat. night. I think the puck was not in, and it was the correct call. But, it seems like its the other way around when its your team. I know, remember Jordans last (push off) shot on the Jazz.......Its about money.....Everybody in Calgary is already a Flames fan , Tampa....well there is a big population there who did not care about Hockey until this week.
Both teams played great, and Calgary deserves alot of credit for going as deep as they did, being from Canada and all....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

In some instances I will agree with that....I've been a hockey player since I can remember. (3 or 4 yo). I'm 31 now and still playing.
Things happen so fast on the ice...I do not think that the games were planned in that way at all...it's too hard in hockey to do that.

Yes tampa is a new team...but a team with some good young blood...and a couple of older keepers as well...They did the job they needed to do. Plain and simple...they deserved it.

 

I'm with you, even though I would have rathered Calgary to win (canadian team). The only consolation for me at this point is that there are more Canadians playing for Tampa Bay than there are for Calgary, so we still won!!! LOL

Tampa Bay came out hard last night and worked for the victory. Yeah Calgary got robbed in game 6, but if the ref didn't stop the play to evaluate, then it's too bad. It $ucks, but that's life .. A buddy of mine is most disappointed that Calgary didn't win .. he had a very interesting proposition from a female friend contingent on Calgary claiming the cup .. better luck next year!!!
