the book of records says the fastest bike is a custom quad with a motorbike engine which runs at about 118mph, surely there is someone with a faster banshee?

Someone was talking about this a while back... You can do a search but, I remember someone saying that the record is held by a blind guy and no one has really went out and tried to break it out of respect to him.

 

do YOU think someone shouls go out and break it soon, it makes our sport look slow!!!!!

 

I was thinking about it that day and at first thought it was cool... Then started thinking you know times change and quads get faster, so I don't know guess I'm kind of torn...

I think someone will have to step up and do it but guess that no one wants to be the first one to knock this guy off his throne. Once the record is broken then it will be a mad rush and tons of people will be gunning for it.

 

i know it is harsh but i would love to break his record as it would encourage, as you say, more people to try and so companies will try to create even faster bikes, which is better for us!!

The record is 99mph held by a blind deaf man. Its a gentlemens agreement to not break the record.

 

ok buddy, i can respect that but sooner or later someone who does not know will break it! lets hope he can hold the record for as long as he wants to.
